Wimbledon Space

Wimbledon Space, Main Foyer entrance

Wimbledon Space hosts an ambitious programme of exhibitions and events each year, comprised of three major shows alongside a series of smaller scale projects, invited or originated by staff and students at the college. The programme is developed to reflect the research interests of the College, focusing on Fine Art and Theatre and an exploration of the territory between the two disciplines, with a long-established emphasis on Drawing.

Wimbledon Space is a dedicated on-site secure gallery with temperature, humidity and light controls, which has facilitated the capacity to present high quality external exhibitions, performances and interactive installations. The gallery forms part of a public-facing complex within the campus at Merton Hall Road, Wimbledon, located alongside the Theatre and the Archive Centre at Wimbledon.

Exhibitors at Wimbledon Space have included Phil Allen, Jordan Baseman, Sonia Boyce, Dan Coombs, Geraint Evans, Peter Farley, Sir Nicholas Grimshaw, Jocelyn Herbert, Simon Callery, Avis Newman, Katie Pratt, Paul Ryan, Keir Smith and Terry Smith.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday, from 10am - 5pm. Closed Weekends and Bank Holidays.
